This is the fine type that we use to cover tomato, pepper, herb and most flower seeds etc when we sow them in trays. It improves water holding and aeration and speeds up germination times. You can also mix it with very small seed so the seed is spread further which makes pricking out easier (the minipak size is ideal for this).
